Nikki Humphrey (00:00)
Hi, I'm Nikki.
Hope Mangiafico (00:02)
Hi, I'm Hope. Welcome to Equipped Fellowship, where friends become family through Christ. We're two Jesus loving friends on a mission to share personal stories, resources, and real talk about our triumphs, breakthroughs, struggles, and setbacks. Why? Because we believe you are called to live victoriously and we're here to equip you with Holy Spirit-led tools and strategies to strengthen your faith, transform your mindset, and walk boldly in God's promises. Because here's the truth you have been given great and precious promises by God.
So grab your coffee, lean in, and let's grow together. It's time to step into everything God has for you.
Nikki Humphrey (00:40)
So hope what are we stepping into today?
Hope Mangiafico (00:43)
Man, today we are stepping into episode 70. And when we were briefly discussing 70, I decided to look it up because I was like, that's a biblical number. And we're gonna dive into what that number looks like for a handful of reasons. One, because I think it really expresses what it's like to journey with Jesus to go from
someone that's been broken and in pain to someone that brings the father glory and be goes from glory to glory and to r reflect Jesus. That's the word I'm looking for. as well as we might be we are actually taking a break with episode 70. And I think this number is the perfect segue into a break. So I'm just looking forward to ourselves and the listeners to have a better understanding of
Maybe just the number 70. Maybe we'll talk about all the biblical numbers, you know, and how numbers do matter in the Bible. Like the father's so intentional with that and how it affects
our lives.
Nikki Humphrey (01:50)
I think that's so it's just like the father to bring that number to your intention to highlight it because Hope and I were really struggling. It's just like with the seasons that we're both in, it's just like, what do we do and how do we fit this all in? And and this is something that we love to do so much. And it just brings me so much joy and excitement and fulfillment. And it helps me grow closer to God, which I hope if you're listening and watching, it has blessed you in that way too.
But when Hope looked up that number and sent it to me, it was sometimes you need permission to let something go for a little bit or to just pause it. And it was like God's like blessing over it for us. Just like, I know you two love it, but sometimes things that you love, you just need to set aside for a little bit. Doesn't mean
Hope Mangiafico (02:45)
Hm.
Nikki Humphrey (02:45)
you're not gonna pick it up again. But for now.
Don't worry, my hand's still on it, even if you need to take a timeout.
Hope Mangiafico (02:57)
That's so well said. And I loved how you said like he blessed it. And just to kind of give an idea to the listeners of what kind of stood out to us about that is the number 70 symbolizes complete spiritual order, divine fullness, and a fully completed period of judgment or restoration. And you know, the numbers that make 70 are seven times 10.
And seven represents spiritual perfection and holiness, which is what I was saying when I was speaking, that I see like seven being so representative of becoming like Jesus, reflecting him like because he is holy, we can be holy. It's this journey. And then 10 represents the completeness, law, and order. So as Nikki was saying, just specifically about the podcast, there's this theme of completeness.
Perfection, not perfection like we aced it, crushed it. Man, he's so proud of how immaculately and what's the word, no mistakes that we've done everything. But it's like well done, girls. It's okay. I can hear him because Nikki, you you often talk about how the father already knows things. He's like, I know your season, I know what's going on in your day-to-day.
factor those things in. And I think as his daughter, I forget that sometimes because I get so locked in on what I believe I'm supposed to do. So the podcast, right? So he I'm like, ooh, he said podcast, go, go, go. But all these other little minions in my life are running around and I forget he wants them all to work together in this beautiful display.
Nikki Humphrey (04:46)
But I think it is hope and I have been if you've listened to us thematically of the last chunk of episodes through the summer and then up to now. We just say how much growth that we've had. And it it we're not the same person that we were in January. Both of us have changed and evolved and and God has transformed us and it is being obedient and it is being, you know, all the things that we talk about.
in the podcast, like looking for the signs and having that constant flow of conversation with God and getting our relationship back in alignment.
Hope Mangiafico (05:24)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (05:25)
All of those things that we were working on, it led us to this point where I think breathing work room is the wrong word because I I don't want to say that and people misinterpret it like, we're gonna forget doing all those things. But it's bringing all those tools
and our
Hope Mangiafico (05:43)
Mm.
Nikki Humphrey (05:44)
leveled
armor into a season of a different assignment.
Hope Mangiafico (05:49)
Hmm. Very well said.
Nikki Humphrey (05:53)
But worldly Nikki wants to hold on to it and keep going, but I know. And that's even more of a reason sometime to just put it down.
Hope Mangiafico (06:04)
That's kind of something that I have been pressing in, talking about growth for myself, is when I start feeling really strong feelings now, I usually know it's the direction I'm not supposed to go in. Does that make sense? It's like I've I it used to be my prompt if you go to follow the Lord, but now, because I've grown, I'm like, ooh, there is a really fine line between hopes, desires, and Holy Spirit's leading.
And I have grown in that. And so I can so relate to you in that. And it's it's one of those things too that I think it's so important for not just us talking about the podcast, but the listeners in their own life. It's like what I believe this, and you probably do too, Nikki. Whenever you listen to this episode, you are meant to listen to it at the moment that you're listening to it. So it's really worthwhile to pause and be like, Lord, right now.
What are you calling fully completed?
And restored.
What are you saying to me has reached that spiritual perfection? I I I would love, Nikki. I want to use the word spiritual perfection because in my spirit, I know what that is, but I want to try and define it. Because I think it's a really good question to ask when someone hears this episode to go to the father and be like, what has reached that spiritual perfection, that completion? But
Do you have a I don't know, does anything come to mind on how to define
Nikki Humphrey (07:37)
So when I okay, I'm getting something. So this
Hope Mangiafico (07:39)
Mm-hmm.
Nikki Humphrey (07:41)
Spiritual perfection is
Wow, it's really hard, hope. Like you said, like I know it.
But putting the words to it is
Hope Mangiafico (07:51)
Is it
like an area of your life that he wanted to see you grow in to reach what he put in you in the beginning? And so that part has reached perfection in his eyes.
I'm gonna look up a biblical definition of perfection.
Nikki Humphrey (08:01)
It yeah. It looks
it looks
To me that makes sense.
Hope Mangiafico (08:05)
Me too.
So we're gonna look at
Nikki Humphrey (08:07)
I think spiritual
perfection too can also be is like you're staying
Hope Mangiafico (08:12)
Alignment.
Nikki Humphrey (08:13)
yeah, staying on God's path. That's I was just gonna say, just you're staying on God's path and you're going and you're moving forward. You're not staying stuck.
And you're moving in a new direction.
Hope Mangiafico (08:25)
Yeah.
I think what you're saying complements what I pulled up in strong concordance, which has numbers, it's G fifty fifty in Greek, which I can't say. But it's fulfillment, accomplishment, the event which verifies the promise in a consummation and perfection, which is the word that we originally used. And when you are speaking
I was reading the word accomplishment. That's what it kind of feels like. Like you're taking the step constantly to just be in alignment with the Father. Until now, there's no more steps to take in that direction. And in his eyes, that's perfection.
Nikki Humphrey (09:11)
Right. Because you're not going off in the curly cues. You're not stuck
Hope Mangiafico (09:15)
Mm-hmm.
Nikki Humphrey (09:15)
stuck. You're not, you know, like we talked about in the last episode, making a jail of the crosses and just living in your staking
Hope Mangiafico (09:25)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:26)
your claim and just staying there. Even though it's
Hope Mangiafico (09:28)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:29)
comfortable.
Hope Mangiafico (09:30)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:31)
It's moving forward and letting go of something. It's like it is a holy exchange because we are giving up
Hope Mangiafico (09:37)
Mm-hmm.
Nikki Humphrey (09:37)
something that we love and cherish and giving it to the Father because we know he's gonna take good care of it and
Hope Mangiafico (09:45)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:45)
tend to it, even though we we're not going to right now.
Hope Mangiafico (09:48)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:50)
But it's almost like he can't give us the next thing until we give him this.
Hope Mangiafico (09:54)
Because at the end of the day, our greatest journey in life is growing and trusting him. I really think that's the purpose of life. I mean, you gotta know him first, and then you grow in that trust process. But everything you just shared, that's what I think of. So do you trust him enough to hand it over so he can give you the more? You don't have to hand it over. You don't have to say,
Father, what has reached completion right now? You can keep stepping in whatever direction. You could stay on the path and you'll receive blessings. He'll bring things to you. But I would dare to say, and I think we've talked about this on episodes, there will be some delays in some aspects of your life that he is wanting to give to you as soon as possible.
He's not withholding.
He's aligning with your choices.
I never thought about it that way.
Nikki Humphrey (10:52)
So as you were talking, hope, God gave me this vision the other day when I was at church. And you know how you start something starts building inside of you and you don't get all the pieces until you start asking questions. So I was in church and I kept hearing like, keep your eyes on me, keep your eyes on me, keep your eyes on me, like over and over and it's like that could mean anything. Like
Hope Mangiafico (11:15)
Nah.
Nikki Humphrey (11:17)
anything. And there was this moment.
during church where it was just like a reflection time.
Hope Mangiafico (11:28)
Mm.
Nikki Humphrey (11:28)
Which was I never really had that during a church service before where it was like this intentional time where you're supposed to like talk to God. So I was like, okay, God, like what does this mean? And so all of a sudden I saw this tug-of-war rope
laying
Hope Mangiafico (11:45)
Hm.
Nikki Humphrey (11:46)
on the ground. I'm like,
Like, okay, what do you do with this, God? And God picks up one end. And there's the tug of war rope is like loose. It's not tight. And I'm like, why isn't it tight? Like, where's the other end? He's like, Nikki, I'll always give you as much slack as you need. I'll always let you go and do your own thing.
Hope Mangiafico (12:15)
Wow.
Nikki Humphrey (12:15)
In your own way
and your own timing. He's like, but you need to remember, I'm never gonna let it go. I'll give you what you need, but I'm not letting go. But I want you to keep your eyes on me because if you keep your eyes on me, you're gonna start pulling closer to me and get out of the world and out of the curly cues. And you and you are pulling towards me. And as soon as you start.
Pulling towards me, I'm pulling you in. It creates a
tight rope. There's no more slack in the rope. And that is, like we always say, alignment with the father. And it's a clear pathway of communication. Like I don't know
Hope Mangiafico (13:01)
Wow.
Nikki Humphrey (13:02)
if you ever had the tin cans with the string, and if you pulled
Hope Mangiafico (13:05)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (13:06)
it. Like it's just that perfect connection.
And I love that. And that's what I needed at that moment, like that realization. It's like, yeah, he'll let me go as far as I am. And like you said, hope, he'll still bless things and it'll still be fruitful and it'll still be somebody who wants us to keep it our eyes on him and move closer to him. And as soon as we do that one little like body gesture, he's pulling us in. He's rope bringing that rope in as quick as he can.
Hope Mangiafico (13:36)
That is so beautiful. It's tender. It's it's grace filled. it's loving. It's everything that he is. And as you're speaking, my eyes are watering because as I am yet we've already had episodes on pivots and we were talking about pivots and I am pivoting again.
Yeah. But what's interesting is as I've prepared for this new pivot, a lot of things have been happening outside of the realm of the pivot. And I literally said yesterday, Lord, I don't hear you like I was. And Nikki, as you were speaking, it blessed me because I often have a tendency to define completion or perfection as
How near he feels.
Nikki Humphrey (14:31)
Mm-hmm.
Hope Mangiafico (14:32)
How familiar I am with his voice of how it landed in the past, how I heard him in the past. And I got really upset yesterday about this because I'm like, God, I know you haven't left. but it's kind of scary, which now that I say that, I'm like, that's intentional, because then you gotta learn to press into him in a new way. but it's kind of scary because the comfort that I got comfortable with with him, I don't feel it.
that's me defining everything incorrectly and your your visual of the tug of war is beautiful because it's not he it's not that I'm not pulling towards him but the vision that blessed me so much is that he's still pulling me in no matter what I'm hearing or feeling or seeing.
Nikki Humphrey (15:22)
That's right.
Hope Mangiafico (15:23)
That's what blessed me in what you said. It's still tight.
I really believe that the pivot has been in alignment with where he's leading me.
Nikki Humphrey (15:33)
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (15:33)
So it's tight.
And I just need to remo I have to remind myself.
Nikki Humphrey (15:38)
huh.
Yeah. I've been saying it lately ever since I got that vision. I'm like, pull the rope. Time to pull the rope. Pulling
closer. Cause like it can
Hope Mangiafico (15:49)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (15:50)
still be tight and you're just like, you know, it's it's not clear yet. Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (15:53)
So distant. Yeah.
Yeah. It's really good.
And I pray that for ourselves and the listeners, like we all learn and grow and
How we define our relationship with the Lord. how to not use our natural senses, you know. I mean, they're there for a reason, right? Our emotions are there for a reason, all of our natural senses are there. But when it comes to our direct access to the Father, we gotta stand on the truth of what we know is true about him. And and I I do that.
But not with deep conviction all the time. When you're in a pivot or with a little blur, or you're transitioning like the podcast into something that you don't really want to do and stop it, you gotta try a little harder, pick up the rope a little more to remember what a good father he is.
Nikki Humphrey (16:51)
So true.
Hope Mangiafico (16:51)
But it doesn't mean you're you're broken or you're doing anything wrong.
Nikki Humphrey (16:54)
Right, no.
Hope Mangiafico (16:55)
And that's the other thing that I have to grow in, is I often think I'm doing something wrong
Nikki Humphrey (16:57)
Right.
Hope Mangiafico (16:59)
if I'm having to remind myself of how good the father is. I must be a ding dong for forgetting.
Put it nicely.
Nikki Humphrey (17:08)
Is but what I keep reminding myself is that he factors that all in. He
Hope Mangiafico (17:14)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (17:15)
factors it all in. He knows.
Hope Mangiafico (17:17)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (17:18)
And it's okay. That's how we learn and that's how we grow and that's how we can be a great testimony for somebody else.
If we were perfect there'd be no testimonies.
Hope Mangiafico (17:26)
I'll learn that eventually, Nikki.
Nikki Humphrey (17:27)
I'm like,
I got lots of testimonies, girl. I always tell the girls, I got lots of testimonies, you know. But some people, I'm like, it's all perspective, ladies. It's all perspective. One person would think about what I've gone through and maybe make different choices. I chose some good choices, some bad choices, but it all led me back to God. And it was always God who helped me through. It was
Hope Mangiafico (17:54)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (17:54)
never anything that I did.
On my own.
Hope Mangiafico (17:57)
That's the truth.
I forget it, but it's true.
Okay.
So here's what's interesting.
Know if you caught some of my word uses. Sometimes I speak and then I'm like, Lord, why did I use that word? Sometimes it's like, whoa, that was great. And then sometimes like, what the heck was that? So when I was speaking about my own personal journey of having this pivot big thing here, podcast here, right? That I love. And then I said, these little minions over here. I was like, why did I use that word? And so I just looked up what a minion was. I know from movies, but I wanted to understand like what.
Would be defined in the world's eyes, right? And it's an unimportant person who obeys the orders of a powerful leader or boss. As I was speaking, and I'm like, whoo, the podcast is all here, and all these minions, it showed that I was bothered by these things that were in my life. I was deeming them unimportant when these things are part of the powerful leader, aka God's plan, anyways. But I'm viewing them as minions.
And God's like, no, I put it all here.
That's fascinating.
Nikki Humphrey (19:09)
That's why it's important to pause and reflect on what you say, what you
Hope Mangiafico (19:13)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (19:14)
hear. Especially when it comes out like cuckoo for cocoa pups. You're just like, What was that? You know, like like when I was in church and like keep your eyes on me and I'm like, duh, I'm in church. Like
Hope Mangiafico (19:27)
Duh,
right, that's who when you say a duh to God, you know that okay we got
Nikki Humphrey (19:32)
I know. And it was just you have to press in a little bit more. I'm like, okay, you need to give me more information. I don't have the whole picture formed yet.
Hope Mangiafico (19:40)
Yeah. But you're right. Like it's so good to pause or just pay attention. Nikki, you talked about this on a recent episode about awareness. just bringing awareness to your words because we know scripture says life and death are in the power of the tongue. Like we know that, but also it's out of the mouth, shows the overflow of your heart. So what I love about the father is
Clearly the word minion was showing my heart, but he was able to also show where he was in the picture in the way that I was approaching things, anyways. And that's what's so cool about him. If you give him the space, you just need awareness, which is kind of like what Nikki was saying about reminding yourself to pick up the rope. And you said
You were mentioning awareness in episode 67, which is about peace. And you said specifically that awareness is the only way to bring change. And if you want to bring that into this episode, awareness is the only way to reach that completion with the Father. Because the only way you can begin to look more like Jesus, to be so aligned with his will, because you become his will.
Literally the only way.
Nikki Humphrey (20:58)
And again, that takes time. And most people don't want to take the time. And it doesn't take a lot of time. And we talked about that. We've been talking about the kids consist consistently lately. Like it doesn't take time. But it's forming that new relationship habit with God.
Hope Mangiafico (21:16)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (21:18)
That's tough. But once it's there, like we've been talking about, you can tap into it anytime. It's like a conversation with your good friend. It's continual.
Hope Mangiafico (21:27)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (21:27)
It never stops. It happens all throughout the day.
You know, like when you're in the car, you're like, Should I get a mo bed, God?
Hope Mangiafico (21:34)
Good memory.
Nikki Humphrey (21:35)
You know, it's those things.
Hope Mangiafico (21:35)
That's okay.
Nikki Humphrey (21:36)
Like it's always there. Like and then I was at church, I was like, Why are you showing me a rope now? Like what's going on?
Hope Mangiafico (21:43)
Exactly. And then you're using things that you've already learned with him. Again, you're gett you're becoming the complete picture that he made Nikki to always be because you're now pulling sacred imagination and all these different tools that he has brought into your life over
Nikki Humphrey (21:59)
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (21:59)
time.
Nikki Humphrey (22:00)
Mm-hmm.
Hope Mangiafico (22:01)
And I think that's what's so beautiful, kind of going back to the number 70, is you can ask the father what is coming to completion right now? What are you calling perfect right now? But always remember his end goal is to speak over you for you to allow him to speak, or as Zephaniah says, he has a song over you to be all that he saw.
Before you even came Earth side.
Nikki Humphrey (22:32)
And it we need to remember, everybody, and me especially, spiritual completion doesn't mean it has to be finished in a earthly way.
'Cause I like a nice neat bow on everything. And that's not that's my interpretation, but that's not God's interpretation.
Hope Mangiafico (22:52)
Yeah. It's a good point. And I'm sure a lot of what I say makes it sound like the bow on top kind of terminology. And part of that is probably because exactly what you shared, Nikki, like there's still a part of me that often wants it to be that way. And I guess my take home for what I just said and what you just said is he wants to sing that song over you because
every aspect of your life. He just desires to see you get one step closer to it. And that's really the goal.
Is how can my daughters align with what I know is in them?
It's not a finished puzzle necessarily, but can we put more pieces into that puzzle?
Nikki Humphrey (23:33)
Talking about in last week's episode, a lamp under your foot. Like it's just like that one little space, and you make that one step. That's spiritual completion. One step.
Hope Mangiafico (23:46)
Mm.
Nikki Humphrey (23:47)
Then you're ready for the next step. And you
Hope Mangiafico (23:49)
Amen.
Nikki Humphrey (23:50)
that and then you go again. It's not like
a one and done, like you get to the end of your life and you're like, spiritual completion, check.
Hope Mangiafico (24:00)
That's a hard one to get out of Nikki. That like
Nikki Humphrey (24:02)
It really is. It
is. That's why I think it's so important that we're having this conversation because I need to hear it.
Hope Mangiafico (24:10)
I do too.
And as we're talking, the other word I was looking up, because we're talking about completion, and I I briefly mentioned the number 70, having having the word holiness. And holiness, it's G38. There's probably multiple versions of it, but I just click on whatever sticks out to me, guys. So if you want to do a study, you can do a study. but the terms that come up under holiness is consecration, purification.
and sanctification of heart and life.
Sanctification is a day-by-day choice by choice lifestyle, which goes perfectly with the lamp analogy you just gave, which is scripture. He's a light unto our path, unto our feet. But if you have been in church at all, you've probably been taught a million times that sanctification is a process. You've probably heard it many times. That is holiness.
is just taking that step. And every time you take that step because you believe that's where he's leading you, you become more pure, more holy, more aligned, and more like your savior. And that's the end goal. The bow on top is just will I look more like him?
Father is holy, but there are parts in scripture where it talks about us being holy. We don't think about that very often. I think we think we're too dirty.
Nikki Humphrey (25:41)
True.
Hope Mangiafico (25:42)
Yeah. But if you think about holiness as that sanctification of step by step, that helps make you realize that you're not too dirty to run into the Father's lap, to pick up the rope, to cry out to him, because that's turning you into holiness. That's really
beautiful.
Nikki Humphrey (26:03)
It is really beautiful. And that's spiritual perfection. Every time we turn to God when we could be turning to other things, right?
Hope Mangiafico (26:11)
There's the that's simple. There's the definition. Turning to God when we can be turning to other things.
Wow. Good thing we couldn't define it earlier.
Nikki Humphrey (26:21)
God. God's so good. You knew it'd come out.
Hope Mangiafico (26:26)
And you know what's really beautiful that the listeners, depending on how many episodes they listened to before, they may or may not have noticed. Nikki and I, this episode went real old school. We didn't have an intro. We just picked a topic and we ran with it. And I think I see this beautiful circle that is almost like the spiritual completeness. He's like, Hey, let's ladies, let's take it back to how we started. Where you just let me speak.
You get to be human and interact and talk, but being aware of me, and then I'll show up.
And I love that because before we hit record, Nikki and I were saying, like, man, we used to just hit record and go. And we'd be like completely shocked. And we still were when we didn't just hit record and go. But there was this beautiful when you see that growth through our episodes, there's this beauty in the beginning that also showed like it's go time. Do you know what I mean? Like
Nikki Humphrey (27:29)
Yeah.
Hope Mangiafico (27:30)
seeing that maturation.
Nikki Humphrey (27:32)
We'd get done with the episode and we didn't even really know what we were talking about 'cause we were just led the whole time by the Holy Spirit.
Hope Mangiafico (27:38)
Yeah, we didn't have to did we have topics? I don't know if we always had topics.
Nikki Humphrey (27:43)
Yeah.
Hope Mangiafico (27:43)
Sometimes.
Nikki Humphrey (27:44)
Sometimes. But it was just very nondescript. Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (27:48)
It's like a word. Forgiveness.
Let's go.
So it's this beautiful thing and a beautiful reminder.
And he clearly wants us to know, us and the listeners, how he defines spiritual perfection, the number 70.
Turning to him instead of worldly things.
Nikki Humphrey (28:05)
It's so good. It's such a good reminder.
Hope Mangiafico (28:07)
Wow. But I'm I'm excited to see what's next for the podcast in our lives, for quote fellowship in general. If people haven't been around for a long time, Nikki and I have shared towards the beginning, like Nikki and I have been doing life together for a while. And the Lord brings our ideas and our lives together and our visions periodically.
And so it's one of those things like this isn't goodbye, it's a see you later kind of thing.
Nikki Humphrey (28:42)
Because I don't know, maybe I'm still caught up in my feelings about it, but it was just like I think there's more that
There's still unfinished business with the podcast. And I don't know what that means. I don't know what that looks like. I don't know. I
Hope Mangiafico (28:51)
Hmm. Right.
Nikki Humphrey (28:55)
don't know anything. But I don't feel like it's a goodbye forever. I mean
Hope Mangiafico (29:01)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (29:03)
it could be a month. It could be a ye I don't know. I'm not putting a time limit on it because
Hope Mangiafico (29:08)
Don't 'cause you'll be pivoting in three months unexpectedly anyways.
Nikki Humphrey (29:12)
R you know, that's not my business. God will God will let us know
Hope Mangiafico (29:16)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (29:17)
if and when that time comes.
Hope Mangiafico (29:19)
Yeah. It's so true. It's so good.
Nikki Humphrey (29:25)
But yes, he he he God puts these things on the hope and I's heart. And it's just like we have this beautiful relationship with the father and with one another. And it blends
Hope Mangiafico (29:36)
Mm-hmm.
Nikki Humphrey (29:37)
so seamlessly. And I love how you brought it back to the first, you know, couple episodes. Like there was no it was just seamless with no planning.
Hope Mangiafico (29:47)
It really was.
It really was.
Nikki Humphrey (29:51)
Yeah.
Hope Mangiafico (29:54)
The word that's coming to mind is like I don't wanna it's the word that's coming to mind, but it feels kinda weird. But in a world where podcasts grow, grow, grow so and they get more and more perfect
Nikki Humphrey (30:08)
Mm-hmm.
Hope Mangiafico (30:08)
from an external perspective, felt like the lore is like there's a purity in this podcast. There's purity in other podcasts.
But he wants to keep a pure heart throughout it. And I do think intentional sabbaths, if you will, are required for that.
Nikki Humphrey (30:28)
Yes. Yes.
Yes, because we need to hear God speak. And if we're so busy doing all the things, then the ideas coming forth are from us and not from God.
Hope Mangiafico (30:44)
And just so the listeners know, we've already battled that before with the podcast. So we we we worked through that. I mean,
Nikki Humphrey (30:47)
Yeah. Yeah.
Hope Mangiafico (30:50)
in full transparency, like the only way to learn what you just said, Nikki, is you realize when you've started doing your own thing.
Nikki Humphrey (30:56)
Yes, exactly.
Hope Mangiafico (31:00)
so it's exciting.
He's a good father all around. He's equipping all of us all around. And fellowship will continue.
Nikki Humphrey (31:09)
That's right. And the old episodes, they're not going anywhere. So might be a good time
just to go back to your favorite or one that you didn't understand. Here's the great thing about podcasts, and I do this sometimes. Like I didn't understand maybe an episode I listened to on a certain podcast, but then something comes up in my own life and I'm like, I think I listened to a podcast about it when
Hope Mangiafico (31:32)
Yes.
Nikki Humphrey (31:33)
I really
confused or I don't know, wrestling with something at the time and I go back and listen, it's like a whole new revelation.
Hope Mangiafico (31:41)
Yes, exactly. And that's how the Lord works. He'll bring to your remembrance what you need when you need it.
Think that'll do it on my end, Nikki.
Nikki Humphrey (31:53)
That'll do it for now.
Hope Mangiafico (31:55)
Man. Friends, it's very evident. The Lord wanted to teach us, simplify for us what spiritual perfection is all around. So our prayer is that you just take the next step that's choosing him instead of other options that are out in the world. And you're going to be in alignment with the Father. And he is going to bless you with the precious gifts that he has for you.
Nikki Humphrey (32:26)
Amen.
Hope Mangiafico (32:28)
Until next time.
