Hope I have a question for you. After just recording the episode on the Holy Spirit, I feel like this light coming from the inside out of me. Like I turned something up another, like leveled up in the Holy Spirit, like we've talked about before. I don't know if you're feeling it too, but I just feel like this expansion.

Well, how many times, okay, how many overflows have we had? We've probably had at least 40 at this point. How many times have I just sat when we hear recording with my eyes closed? And that's what I was just doing. Because it's.

to it. Like it's hard to like, how do you say this without sounding like a wing nut?

It's a expansion is a good word. The last time we talked about leveling up, I believe was in the first episode of this series. It was like this open door to a better grasp of the entire Trinity of the Godhead. And this one, it's like the bow on top, Holy Spirit was the end. And it feels like, yes, this expansion, because as Nikki and I mentioned in the episode, like,
walking with Holy Spirit has become ⁓ a gradual process. It is so different because it's a...I almost feel like Holy Spirit is our growing process.
And I feel like the father is like, y'all, obviously we didn't cover everything, right? But he's like, you hit the points of my spirit. The things that help set my kids free to get everything that I have for them, including you and I, Nikki. And so I feel that expansion of like, man, God, I just made more space in my life for what you wanna do.
Nikki Humphrey (01:56)
Yes. And it's not like I just saw like three separate categories. Where like before I'm like, okay, so I'm gonna put put in my God bucket today. Here's my Jesus bucket, here's my Holy Spirit bucket. But it's just like we talked about the team concept in in week one of this series, like it's all together. Like it's like keep hearing like Nikki, don't forget, it's all of us working together.

Well, we talked about team in that episode and also you got this, I think in the overflow about unwrapping the gift. It was just funny because we ended basically talking about gifts in the episode of Holy Spirit and the whole Godhead is a gift within itself. And we also closed with.

Mm-hmm.

Ephesians 1, 3 through 14. And guys, it was a lot of scripture. It felt like run on sentences that were repetitive to some degree. would encourage anyone, even if you didn't hear the episode, to read that, maybe in different translations to understand the beautiful gift of all three together. Because that scripture starts with God the Father, leads to Jesus, and the very end talks about Holy Spirit.
And I think that's amazing because that's exactly what the gift looks like.
And you're so right, Nikki.
been separating the three.
And I've had my moments where I've seen him as a team. Like it's not always been always separation, right? But there's something about.
lack of better term that's going to be is a snowball effect of all of them being together. You can't separate them. Once that momentum starts, you can't distinguish one from the other really because they're all needed.
What is your opinion?
on, I this isn't actually the right question to ask.
trying to think about for anyone listening, we talk about Holy Spirit.
So we mentioned the episode of like, okay, if this is new to you, here are some things you can do. But what if like you continue going about life just focused on the other two and leaving it out? Like we kind of hit on that a little bit of like you're missing out on the full gift.
But, like, what do you think are the repercussions of continuing to leave out this aspect?
Nikki Humphrey (04:33)
So I think you're correct in saying you're missing out on the full gift that God has to give you. You're also giving yourself and the world credit for things that are coming from God.
So, like we said, like the Holy Spirit gives you those nudges, that gut feelings. If we ignore the Holy Spirit, we're gonna say that's our intuition, that's something that we've created, or that's something that the world has taught you to do. ⁓

Comforting you, convicting you, being with you, nudging you. And I think that's where a lot of people get the Holy Spirit and the woo-woo stuff confused.
Hope Mangiafico (05:32)

And then we start to rely on the other things of the world instead of God the Father and Jesus.
Hope Mangiafico (05:40)
I think that's great. I like the phrasing.
And we probably as Christians wouldn't say that that's what we were intentionally doing.
It's the fruit of it.

Well, I was authentically like, why am I asking this question? It's literally basically what we talked about. But sometimes you need to hear the flip-flop even though you said it already. Having it framed in a different light really changes it.
Nikki Humphrey (06:08)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah. Because the world will say you can tap into those things. But the Holy Spirit say you don't need to tap in the it's there. It's working with you, in you, through you.
Everybody's got it. And the world wants to say, going back to the gifts of the spirit that you talked about in the episode, like we all have that.

And the other people, you know, the worldly people will try to make money or profit or entice people with what they're feeling.
Hope Mangiafico (06:51)
