Well, I questioned myself because I know that we had talked about it like last week. And then I was like, but I was like, did Hope say it or not? But I'm like, it's OK to say it again if she already said it.

Yeah, you know, it's like, I'm wondering, I feel like I even like had a note on it, but I'm wondering if my note was in my notebook and not the list of questions. Because yeah, once you start, I'm like, oh, you didn't even say that. Everyone needs to participate. So important.

My favorite part was the end, just talking about a dream day with the Jesus girl or the retreat.

And just for like the listeners to have like a little bit of backstory. So Nikki and I wanted to have a couple of episodes that are just like lighthearted because if you're a listener or been around for a while, we're doing this coming off of Equipped for wholeness where it's kind of heavy and there's questions to ask. It's the deep stuff. the outro, Nikki talked about how like you get revelation in the deep, but also in the joy.
And so we wanted to have some fun. And so we did have some chat GPT help on just like creating these questions. Um, but without her reading her answers, me reading my answers. And as we were discussing and coming up with ideas, chat GPT came up with this, like, if you had $20 a day, how would you spend it to hang out with your like Jesus friends?
⁓ and we were, we were like, okay, there's something here. The concept is like almost there. seems kind of fun, but it, it ain't, it ain't working. It's missing the mark here. And then through conversation, this is kind of where we landed. And once we, we had that idea about the dream day, we then use chat GBT to have these like ideas and questions. And both of us, as we implied in the episode, like we didn't look ahead.
I mean, I forgot it said like location, morning rhythms, fun activity, heart moment. And it turned out so beautifully.

That's why I love like the spontaneity of things like this where you don't have to prepare. It's just like whatever God places on your heart at that moment. Like even for answering those questions, like I was thinking one thing as you're reading it, but then as soon as I had that little pause, like something else popped in and I was like, that was so much better than anything else that I could have like sat down and journaled about beforehand.

Yeah.
Yes. And honestly, it almost just got the conversation going because then it made me think about like, man, this all sounds so wonderful. But it would also be really cool to have a dream day at the beach where you have such a large group of women, not too large, but large enough where you have a massive home right on the beach on like a quiet beach. If if anyone listening is on the East Coast, like one of my favorite places is Seabrook Island. So like one of these quiet places.
where not many people are around and it's just the calmness. So it has that same vibe as what we described in the mountains, but at the beach. And some people really connect with the Lord, with the ocean, which is kind of like what you talked about for the mountains, the lake, ⁓ and just having a coastal vibe. And there's always thrift shops at a beach area and just doing the same thing in a different location. Like I want to do that too.

It is so fun, right? Like I like both. I like the beach. I like the mountains depending on the time of year.

I also liked, we didn't talk about this at the end of the paper. It says, if money and responsibilities weren't an issue, what would your Jesus Girls dream day look like? And you know, I don't really think about money being a limitation here. So we're gonna say we have the wealthiest father in the world and money will not be an issue for us to have this come to pass.
Nikki Humphrey (04:41)
That is right. We've been dreaming about it for years, but we never even spitballed things that we talked about today.
Hope Mangiafico (04:45)
Ugh.
Not at all. You're right. But we've talked about it. We maybe have been like, yeah, it'd be nice to like, you know, do some questions, like ask people questions, have them reflect.
Wow. All right, girl, we got to get on this. Nikki and I really do enjoy dreaming with the Lord. And also, I don't know why it's on my heart now to just, as Nikki did the outro of our main episode, she was thanking you for joining us as a listener. as I've thought about, as we're talking now, Nikki and I meet once a week as well, just kind of chat.

⁓ all things life and podcast and we've been coming up with more and more ideas of things we can do to, to help people, to help listeners like yourself. And I do just want to thank you for giving us a place to actually give us an opportunity to think, to dream with the Lord, to seek the father about what our big picture purpose is, how we can be stewards of the life that we've been given. And it's.
We don't know what God's up to ⁓ in any way, or form. have like a whiteboard that I always tell Nikki when we have an idea, I'm like, I'm gonna go write it down on the whiteboard because I don't know what the future holds. We don't know, but because you've given us a place to meet for this podcast, we at least have the ball rolling and we get to enjoy time with the Father and we get to trust Him to let these dreams unfold exactly as He wants. And so I don't know, I just wanted to say thank you for that.

I just want to say that too, like our small but mighty following. Y'all, if you're a part of that, you don't know how grateful we are for you, how delighted we are when we get a new follower, when someone makes a comment on something that we post, somebody gives us feedback, somebody gives us an idea. Like we're so grateful for that because it's like at the end of the day, it's not the Nikki and Hope show. It's just, we're just two Jesus girls who want to help and support other Jesus girls.

through life because life can be hard, can be difficult, it can be challenging, it could be frustrating. And we need support, we need our fellowship to lean on, to grow with, to challenge each other. And that's what we feel called to do. And we just love each and every one of you so much.
