Nikki Humphrey (01:45)
Yes, and transforming your mindset is what we are focusing on this week for week three for our Quit for Wholeness series. This week has the power to fully change everything. If you think that this is something you want to dive into a little bit further, it's not too late. Check out the show notes. This is just an overview of what is covered in the complete course. So check that out.
Stay along for the ride today because this is truly transforming experience that you can have with our Father. So today, again, we're talking about the mind, one of the most powerful parts of who we are. And I know for me personally in the past, this is an area that I've struggled with a lot. My mind, my body battled with one another constantly.
Hope Mangiafico (02:31)
you
Nikki Humphrey (02:44)
for years after years after years and it pulled me into this really dark place. And I know that this is oftentimes hard to confront, but I encourage you to lock in
and listen with an open mind and see if this is the right time for you to dive into this area. Because what I know for sure is that your thoughts shape how you see yourself.
They influence how you respond to challenges and they affect how deeply you experience God's love. Every single thought you think is either moving you towards truth and freedom or deeper into fear, shame and self-doubt. That's why renewing your mind isn't optional. It truly is essential.
Hope Mangiafico (03:42)
Absolutely. something that I'm beginning to really relate with thoughts in my mind is that it actually is a reflection of my heart at the end of the day.
sometimes for me, they weren't always lies, but they were belief systems that would show up as me defending myself or whatever it may be. And what I liked about what you just shared, Nikki,
is you summarized absolutely what's the bad fruit from it. So it's that shame, condemnation, and self-doubt. So that helps you figure out what it is that's showing up in you and in your heart and in your thoughts, because what's the fruit? And I really wanted to mention that because I realized it was really a heart problem that I had and why that renewal.
What scripture says, renewing the mind is so important because you cannot separate your core beliefs from your mind.
Nikki Humphrey (04:41)
That's right. That's right. And this Romans 12, 2, just like you were referencing, do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. It has to be this constant thing that we continue to do at different points of our life because different things, different things take hold during different seasons of our life. And transformation doesn't start with behavior.
Hope Mangiafico (05:04)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (05:09)
It starts with a belief. It starts with how we think.
When our minds are renewed, we begin to see ourselves through God's truth instead of the world's lies. Experiencing emotional healing, respond differently to life's challenges, deepen our connection with God and step boldly into our God given purpose.
Hope Mangiafico (05:34)
Absolutely.
Nikki Humphrey (05:35)
Renewing your mind
isn't about positive thinking. And that's what I used to think. Like if I just thought about this differently, I would have a different outcome. If I just change my way of looking at this, it's gonna be better. It was not that, it was letting God in to do that full restoration for me.
Hope Mangiafico (05:41)
you
Nikki Humphrey (06:00)
And it's not about trying harder. We can try harder all we want. That's striving. We know that that doesn't work. And it's not about pretending things are okay. know, fake it till we make it. We can do it. It's going to be all right. It's inviting the Holy Spirit to reshape how you think, perceive, and believe. And when that happens, everything begins to shift and turn from the inside out.
Hope Mangiafico (06:05)
Mm. Okay.
man, the striving and fake it till you make it. Something that the Lord wanted me to share is we've talked about this on the podcast before, but that 1 % better each day. That's been a theme that's been showing up in my life recently. And I wrote that 1 % better each day is the goal. And we often can't see that progress. And God hinted to me that he made this the goal on purpose because he knows we'd be more self-reliant and dependent.
on willpower, that white knuckling, ⁓ if it was more noticeable for us. So that presentation also is covered in love versus what you were sharing, Nikki, where if only I could do this, only I could change my mindset and my thoughts, that's that shame, that's condemnation, it's that bad fruit. Whereas that 1 % progress, God knows that's how we have to actually stay reliant on Him.
Nikki Humphrey (07:01)
Are you?
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (07:28)
and as humans That's painfully hard, but it's actually covered in love and is how we actually accomplish this renewing of the mind.
Nikki Humphrey (07:39)
Same and a little bit later. We're actually gonna teach you a process that you can try Because you might be thinking like well, how do I do this? I'm a striver I'm the one who just tries to like change my attitude and be positive and do all these things like how do I cut that off and how do I connect with God and That's coming in just a little bit but first we want to address
Hope Mangiafico (07:40)
I'm learning that.
you
Right.
Amen.
Perfect.
Nikki Humphrey (08:08)
the battlefield that our mind can be. Like I referenced at the beginning, like my mind was truly a minefield and I was like tiptoeing through it, trying not to get hurt, trying to like figure it all out, trying to like dodge things or avoid things that seemed too hard. But scripture says in Corinthians 10-5, take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.
Hope Mangiafico (08:27)
Mm.
Nikki Humphrey (08:37)
that second Corinthians,
The enemy knows that if he can influence your thinking, he can influence your emotions, your choices, your faith and your destiny because what we believe determines how we live. There's nothing more than Satan wants to get into that little crack that's in your current view and just infiltrate it and blow it up.
Hope Mangiafico (08:39)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:04)
or make something that's so small to magnify it into something so big that it was never even meant to be. It was just meant to be a passing comment or a thought or a visual thing that you see. And he takes it and he twists it and he's like, boom, now what are you going to do with that?
Hope Mangiafico (09:05)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:26)
And many thoughts we struggle with aren't random. They're rooted in past wounds, trauma, rejection, disappointment, fear, and lies we unknowingly agreed to long ago.
Hope Mangiafico (09:41)
Yes. Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (09:43)
And if you've been along this podcast journey from the beginning from us, we've addressed a lot of those things that Hope and I have struggled with in
the past. And it was only when we learned how to connect with God our Father and surrender to him that we were able to begin to shift our perspective on these things and to heal those things that used to cause us.
so much trauma and discomfort. And I don't know the words, scatterbrain is coming to mind.
Hope Mangiafico (10:20)
And I can't help but to say like as someone's listening like
I know I have not fully arrived. I reiterate that 1 % because I think I might have been in the negatives.
Nikki Humphrey (10:34)
Same.
Hope Mangiafico (10:36)
Because I am not there and I just, I want to be so clear on that. On my, it's like, as you're on the journey, life seasons, they shift and change. And so you're in new environments that may pull up a new old, like new old, new old thought pattern that you didn't know was there until you were in a certain environment. And
I know, I guess I'm feeling this for my own journey and I've been like honest too, like I'm going through a clip for wholeness myself because I'm not arrived and I don't know if we ever do arrive. But I'm speaking this to speak grace over the individual who's on this journey and with this part of the mind has been the most difficult, I want to say the biggest stronghold. I don't know if that's appropriate way to say it.
and you have to walk it out with grace because new environments invite new old thought patterns in and it feels like you're starting over but you're not, you're just rewiring a new part of your brain. And it can be exhausting if you do not check in with the Father and remind yourself of his grace and his love for you and he's so proud of the journey you're on.
Nikki Humphrey (11:57)
I just want to say this too, because sometimes I've thought an issue that I was dealing with my thought patterns was healed. And then the Lord brings it up again. And I was like, what? I thought we did all this work. And like you exactly said, Hope, that was just maybe a layer of healing that took place. But sometimes you've arrived at this new place where you can go even deeper with the Father. So don't get discouraged about that.
Hope Mangiafico (12:05)
Yes, exactly.
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (12:26)
lean into that and don't think like, but I've already dealt with, lean in and listen to what the next revelation is going to be in that area.
Hope Mangiafico (12:38)
Mmm, you know as you're speaking about listening, I'm thinking about fruit again I just really love how you started this lesson about kind of what you can tell us but basically bad fruit of this that's how I interpreted it at least is when Something comes back up your response. What is your response like? Is it that condemnation? You know the shame the Self-doubt because then that shows who okay. We do need to work on this
Nikki Humphrey (12:58)
Yes.
Okay.
Hope Mangiafico (13:04)
but if it is accepting and, okay, God, you're for me, not against me, let's do it, you growin', let's go.
Nikki Humphrey (13:11)
Yes. And
I have a list here of like thought patterns that get us keep us stuck. And I was like stuck. I have our alignment image in our head with like a fist over fist and like we usually twist it to be in alignment. But sometimes we're just stuck. And when we're stuck in these thought patterns, we can't really be in true alignment with the father because we are blocking something. So some of the common ones for me are like
Hope Mangiafico (13:17)
Perfect.
Mmm.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (13:40)
all or nothing thinking, comparison, self-condemnation, we've already mentioned a couple during this podcast,
Hope Mangiafico (13:48)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (13:49)
fear-based thinking and hopelessness. And then one of the most powerful strongholds and thought patterns that I, I'm gonna still say face because it's still weaves it way in, is that stinking victim mindset.
Hope Mangiafico (13:59)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (14:10)
And this sounds like extreme condemnation for me, like I'm powerless. I'm always getting the hurt. Everyone else gets the good stuff. I always get the bad stuff. Like God must have forgotten about me. When we live from a victim mindset, we unknowingly give circumstances more authority than Jesus. And I have been thinking
Hope Mangiafico (14:10)
Okay.
Nikki Humphrey (14:38)
lot about this the last few days because I Might be the queen of that giving circumstances more authority than Jesus. I was like
Hope Mangiafico (14:38)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (14:50)
When you really sit down and think about having a victim mindset or that victim mentality or that catastrophic thinking, I'm thinking Jesus has no power over that, but he does.
Hope Mangiafico (15:03)
Right.
Yeah. Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (15:07)
And it's that holy exchange of giving it over that I still find myself clutching it so close and not fully wanting to surrender that area.
Hope Mangiafico (15:19)
Yeah, I feel that. Ugh, that's so good.
Nikki Humphrey (15:24)
Yeah, because the enemy loves when we forget who we are, when we forget we're God's child and he's our father and God's got our back and God already defeated Satan. So what do we have to worry about?
Hope Mangiafico (15:31)
Yeah.
Right. That's why.
Nikki Humphrey (15:40)
And we love
when we get that twisted.
Hope Mangiafico (15:43)
I'm looking at that Romans 831, if God is for us, who can be against us? We're still learning that, like getting it in our heart. So again, your thoughts are reflection of your heart. So if you're battling that authority, thinking circumstances have more authority than Christ, it's because that heart posture hasn't received Romans 831. Who can be against me? He has the most authority.
Nikki Humphrey (16:05)
And the bad fruit of that is because when a believer forgets their identity, they'll never step into their calling. And that's what Satan wants. He doesn't want you to step in your calling, your purpose, who God created you to be. Nope.
Hope Mangiafico (16:12)
Absolutely, exactly.
Absolutely.
Hmm.
Nikki Humphrey (16:28)
So we're ready for some good news.
Hope Mangiafico (16:30)
Always.
Nikki Humphrey (16:34)
So here's the thing. Our brains are wired through repetition, right? We know that. A lie repeated long enough begins to feel like truth. We've talked about that. Every time we rehearse, I'm not enough. I can't change. God won't come through. We strengthen those mental neuro pathways that make those lies automatic. And eventually they become filters that distort our reality.
Hope Mangiafico (16:40)
Yes.
Nikki Humphrey (17:04)
Strongholds that block God's voice and barriers to healing and joy. But the good news is we are not stuck. I'm not stuck. Hope's not stuck. Anybody listening or watching is not stuck. You have been given the mind of Christ, that's 1 Corinthians 2.16, and divine power to demolish strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10.4. You are not powerless. You
Hope Mangiafico (17:27)
Yes.
Nikki Humphrey (17:33)
are equipped. And now it's time to learn to fight back God's way, not our way.
Hope Mangiafico (17:41)
Yes. Yes, yes, yes. And you know, I, this dropped in my spirit a couple minutes ago and then what you just spoke kind of.
Nikki Humphrey (17:47)
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (17:49)
Confirmed it so you know how we were talking about the alignment you said you know we usually twist But you're stuck and you can't twist I go to the chiropractor and it seems that every time I go to get adjusted one side of me is More resistant more stuck than the other and just for the I've seen this man for probably six years now because he's become a friend I'm like dude. What is this? Why why does this happen?
Nikki Humphrey (18:01)
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (18:11)
He was like, honestly, hope it happens every time you're here. So it must be just how your body is. Your right side is always your right leg is longer than the left. It's just how your body is. But the beautiful thing of being adopted through Christ is we don't have a permanent deformity when it comes to our mind or our body. Honestly, all of it. We have.
Nikki Humphrey (18:30)
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (18:34)
all this accessible through Christ and I wanted to share that story because he's like that's just how your body is praise God that there's no such thing when it comes to your mind there's no hopelessness there's no just that's just how it is that might be how you came into the world you inherited those thought patterns as you mentioned Nikki the trauma happens events happen but it's not stuck there
Nikki Humphrey (18:47)
Right.
No No, one thing I can say for sure is I'm a walking talking testimony even though I haven't arrived that I wasn't how I was ten years ago at all and That's only through God
Hope Mangiafico (19:11)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (19:21)
not anything that I have done in my own power. It's allowing him in and renewing and surrendering and listening and leaning in.
Hope Mangiafico (19:21)
And you know.
And I want to ask this question to you because I was just thinking about it for myself.
as you open that door and let him in and do that work, you become more sensitive as well to the thoughts that are off. I know for me, I try, I'm working on it, letting that be an encouragement that I become more sensitive because something that I've started to realize, I guess I'm not really asking the question, I'm speaking out loud, verbally processing to see if you can confirm it, is the more I've grown with the Lord because I've now given him space to highlight things to me, I'm like,
Whoa, whoa, wait, what? And it's just the sensitivity is picked up, but that's actually really good. Almost going back to like renewing the spirit, your spiritual senses are awake by his grace and by your permission of letting him in. And so that's why sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming, but it's actually because he's like, all right, daughter, you said I can come in, I'm coming in. Are you ready? Let's go.
Nikki Humphrey (20:21)
Hmm?
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (20:33)
and let
that be an encouragement. Do you feel that? Like your sensitivity has gone up with those thoughts, things that you just used to let, again, slide by or that's just how you were. Like you no longer have that.
Nikki Humphrey (20:46)
Yes, for sure. Because when I first started my walk with Christ and learning about God and everything, I just kept God in a box and only let him into one area of my life. Say like it was like church on Sundays. Me and God had a great relationship on church on Sundays and maybe like home that evening. And then over time, I let him into different areas of my life. And so God would come in and
Hope Mangiafico (20:58)
Yeah.
Mm.
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (21:15)
I'd work with him and then I build trust with him and more rapport and then I embed him into different areas. And each step with the father, the more areas that weren't, I didn't have closed off to him. And the more I opened up, like you're saying Hope, the more sensitive I got to not only God, but Holy Spirit's nudging like, hey,
Hey, victim, what's going on over there?
How's it feeling? Right? Like, sometimes I think Holy Spirit is making fun of me a little bit, but that's how I feel it in the Spirit. Like, just calling me out. Like, what are you doing, girl? Thought we were over that. Why? And then I have to sit down, like, go talk to your father about that. Why are you feeling so triggered? Why are you feeling so down and out? Why are you using extreme language?
Hope Mangiafico (21:48)
Right.
⁓
extreme language. That's a nother one.
Nikki Humphrey (22:12)
And then
like you said, have to like, get pumped up because I'm like, okay, I've been called out. And this is something that the three-step renewal strategy that we're going to teach you about today. And it's also in the course if you want to go a layer or two deeper with this yourself. So go check that out. But it's, you have to get excited about growth.
Hope Mangiafico (22:27)
Hmm.
Yes, that's it
Nikki Humphrey (22:39)
I have this image, you know, like the growth charts parents have and they measure their kid and they're like, ⁓ I grew a half an inch. like, ⁓ like, just think if we had a growth chart with God, like we stood against the wall and we started and we're way down here. And then like you're saying, Hope, throughout this podcast, that 1 % growth and then that 1 % growth and then you look back after a year, two years, five years, 10 years.
Hope Mangiafico (22:44)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (23:06)
It compounds to exponential growth.
Hope Mangiafico (23:08)
It's done.
Yeah, that's it. Gosh, that's it. Get excited for growth. Man, yeah, that's fire. Woo, I love it.
Nikki Humphrey (23:20)
I
wish I had that growth chart of me as a baby Christian where I am now. Like, would it be like this much? Or like...
Hope Mangiafico (23:24)
I love that, yeah.
Because here's the thing, right? You so inti- you don't- we don't intimately know ourselves because scripture says like only God really knows our hearts while we have to go to him. But at the same time, you're with yourself all the time so it's like a parent being with the kid all the time so they don't even really notice those changes in their kid because they're with them all the time. But when you step away, I don't know, as a parent you go out of town for a week and you leave your child at home and you come back and you're like, whoa, what happened to my kid?
Like that's the, that's the spiritual growth chart too with the mind and the body and the spirit, all of it. That happens. But we're just always so close to ourselves that we don't see it and we don't appreciate it. And what you said, and I love that, we don't get excited for it. And I know I've been so guilty for that because that self-condemnation has been so deep. I've allowed it so deep into my DNA that even with the growth.
Nikki Humphrey (24:00)
Yes.
Hmm?
Hope Mangiafico (24:21)
I see it as condemning still, you know? So I'm still working on that. But I like that excitability and picturing that growth chart in my mind ⁓ and saying, okay, I'm gonna take a break. I'm gonna step away from myself and then I'm gonna revisit it and see the progress, you know? Like take a break from condemning yourself and come back and then see, and you'll be able to really see how big that growth has been. That's great.
Nikki Humphrey (24:49)
So if you wanna start implementing these changes for yourself, Hope and I have a three-step renewal strategy for you. It's called catch, challenge, and change. So step one, catch the thought. Just like how you were just talking about Hope and how I was just talking about, the more we get familiar with those negative thought patterns, those automatic thoughts that come in, we can catch them quickly.
Hope Mangiafico (25:16)
Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (25:18)
So when you think something like that is coming in, pause, you love that pause, pause and ask, what am I thinking about right now?
Hope Mangiafico (25:26)
Okay.
Nikki Humphrey (25:33)
Is this thought that's coming up rooted in fear, shame or truth?
because if it's from fear or shame, it's probably not from God.
Hope Mangiafico (25:48)
No.
Nikki Humphrey (25:49)
And if it's rooted in truth, where's your evidence that that's true?
Hope Mangiafico (25:55)
Ooh, that's a good question.
Nikki Humphrey (25:57)
because ⁓ early on in my journey and still sometimes I think it's truth, but it's not. It's still my opinion.
Hope Mangiafico (26:05)
Yeah. Yes. Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (26:07)
And we have to realize that we can't change what we don't notice. Awareness is powerful. So step one is catch the thought.
And then step two, once you've defined what that thought, once you've caught it, what is it? Where is it coming from? Step two is challenge the thought. Ask, is this something God would say to me? I love that one. And what evidence supports it?
Hope Mangiafico (26:40)
Pray. Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (26:49)
What evidence contradicts it?
Where did this belief come from? God, pain, a situation, circumstance, an encounter.
Hope Mangiafico (27:04)
Yeah. Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (27:06)
whatever it is, write it out. Remember, feelings are not facts.
This has been a continual mantra for me too lately. Feelings are not facts. God's Word is Truth.
So we're gonna catch our thoughts, step one. Step two, challenge the thought. Ask us if something God would say to me, what evidence supports it? What evidence contradicts it? Where did this belief come from?
Hope Mangiafico (27:41)
It's great.
Nikki Humphrey (27:45)
And then three, change the thought, replace the lie with God's truth.
For me, when I used to do this exercise a lot, because I had these repeated cycles coming in a lot, I would just get a piece of paper down and just write everything negative that was coming up, any repeated cycle, anything that was just kept showing up in my life, I would write it down.
and then I'd fold the paper in half and I would replace it with God's truth. Two ways that I found for me was very helpful for this. One, you could just sit with God and just ask directly. Like, this is what I'm thinking. What do you have to say about that?
Hope Mangiafico (28:29)
Mm-hmm.
Nikki Humphrey (28:37)
If you're not comfortable with that... yet...
I did this too for a little bit. I would type out in my Google search engine what that lie was, what that repeated thought was, what was messing with my mental capacity at that time and say, find a Bible verse that contradicts this thought. And Google will pull up a couple.
Hope Mangiafico (28:54)
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Nikki Humphrey (29:10)
And then I would just choose one. I'd be like, God, which one do you want me to focus on? And I would pick that one, write it in my journal and maybe talk to God about it a little bit more, or maybe just leave it as that right now.
There was even a time where Josephine and I took sticky notes, like the biggest lies that we are telling ourselves. And then we looked up the Bible verses for the truth. And then we put the Bible verses.
all over the house because it's that repeated process of unlearning that sometimes it's important. Sometimes it's not a one and done. Sometimes you need to visually see it and meditate on it with your father over and over again.
Hope Mangiafico (29:42)
Yeah. No. Absolutely.
And if I can just add, because this has been an area for me that was extremely challenging to overcome because a lot of lie examples I couldn't relate to because I actually didn't have a lot of these thoughts, but my actions showed that I had it. It's almost like I numbed my mind, but the things that I was doing revealed what was actually going on.
Nikki Humphrey (30:24)
Yeah.
Hope Mangiafico (30:26)
And maybe I'm a one-offer, but just for the person that also may be listening, that's like, I don't necessarily have lies, but my mind never shuts off. Think about asking the Lord and asking yourself, what do these actions, what do these thought habits reveal about what I'm believing? Because I didn't have these thoughts that you give examples for, Nikki. And I would do so many different mind activities, overcoming activities, and I didn't realize that
Nikki Humphrey (30:44)
Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (30:55)
Probably, this is insanity, I'm not even kidding, but like 98 % of my thought habits in my mind never was quiet. It was me defending myself, standing up for myself, having these conversations. And so they weren't lies, they were defense mechanisms. And so I needed to figure out why was I defending myself in my mind 24 seven. And then I could start.
Nikki Humphrey (31:11)
Yeah. Yes.
Hope Mangiafico (31:22)
dismantling them, but I couldn't identify with a lot of the examples. So sometimes take a step back and say, okay, I know I have a thought habit because my mind's not quiet, which means there's something operating, right? So what is it revealing about my heart and what I'm believing and go from there? Hopefully that's helpful because that's how I started getting free because I just, I didn't have lies going through my mind, but my actions were revealing otherwise.
Nikki Humphrey (31:50)
Oh, for sure, I can relate to this 100 % to hope because I had this impulse control problem. Like I would just want to defend myself and want to make a point. And if you've listened to this podcast before we talk about little Nikki or little hope, like all these little tantrums that I was having, which is different than like you said, that we've talked about these examples, but it's still something that's not bringing me peace. It's bringing.
Hope Mangiafico (31:56)
Mm.
me.
Yeah. Yeah. Right.
Nikki Humphrey (32:17)
Yes, into my life and it's not deepening my relationship with God. It's making me further away from him. It's kicking up these feelings that I don't want to be having. So that is an excellent point.
Hope Mangiafico (32:30)
Yeah, because you can't separate them. That's what you said in the beginning, how your thoughts create what you're doing and your actions. And so sometimes, depending how much you've been through, you start numbing a little bit up here, a little bit, because you're just going through the motions. And that's what I did for a long time. So, good.
Nikki Humphrey (32:47)
Yes.
And so Hope and I want you to think of this as a team approach. There's your part and God's part. We have equal responsibility to work through this as a team with God. We can't expect him to do all the work and be like, poof, Hope, you're all good, girl, if you don't come to him and do your part. So we've separated it into our part and God's part. So our
Hope Mangiafico (33:16)
Okay.
Nikki Humphrey (33:24)
part for this is speak the truth out loud, surround yourself with scripture, interrupt toxic patterns and stay connected to community.
So that's going to be a constant renewal process for us to help us in this journey of renewing our mindset. And then God's part is he's going to reveal hidden lies, heal emotional roots, strengthen your faith.
Speak peace, identity, and wisdom. The Spirit will guide you into all truth. That's John 16 13. This is supernatural transformation. And this leads to, as you strengthen the pathways and partner with the Holy Spirit, you will begin to see harsh self-talk replaced with grace, fear replaced with quiet confidence, healing where shame once lived.
and identity rooted in Christ, not circumstances. Thoughts aligned with heaven, radiance increasing inside than outward. You stop fighting for victory and start living from victory.
Hope Mangiafico (34:43)
Yeah. Yes, for victory has often been my tactic instead of from, so I like that. Good.
Nikki Humphrey (34:54)
And we know that we have covered a lot today. If you want to dive deeper in this, check out the link in the show notes for our Equipped for Wholeness course. And that will walk you through even deeper in this.
Hope Mangiafico (34:57)
Hahaha!
Yes, absolutely. All right, so I'll wrap up with a prayer and you wrap up with a closing statement. just in unity, Heavenly Father, this week I invite you to search my thoughts and reveal any lies or patterns that are not from you.
Show me where I've believed fear, shame, or comparison instead of your truth. Holy Spirit, guide me as I catch, challenge, change my thoughts each day. Give me the strength to speak your truth out loud, meditate on scripture, and interrupt lies before they take hold. Lord, I surrender my mind to you. Fill me with peace, wisdom, and clarity. Let my thoughts align with your words so that my heart is renewed. My identity in Christ is clear.
and my radiance shines from the inside out. Thank you for the transformation that is already happening in me, Father. I choose to live from victory, not striving, but trusting in your spirit to lead me in your son's name, amen.
Nikki Humphrey (36:15)
Amen.
I have a closing encouragement for all of you.
Friend, God is not disappointed in your struggles. He is inviting you into deeper freedom. Every thought you take captive is a victory. Every lie you replace with truth is healing in motion. Every small shift is transformation unfolding. You are learning to think like heaven. You are reclaiming your God-given radiance.
You are being restored mind, body and spirit. And the best part, God is doing this with you.
Hope Mangiafico (36:56)
Learning to think like heaven. Let's continue on that
Until next time, we'll see you in the overflow.
