Yeah, so just talking about, you know, spirit and being aligned with God and God, you know, formed us and everything and spirit. I don't know, like, I feel like inside, like my spirit just like, yeah, remember? Remember when we like first laid on the ground and connected spirit to spirit with God? Like, wasn't that so cool? Like, it's just a rush back of memories of, from the day.

when I started tapping into that because I never knew that that was possible. It sounded kind of hokey-dokey to me because like the spirit is just like out there but I didn't know that I could connect spirit to spirit because his spirit was inside of me and everybody because he formed us.

I actually felt more like a sense of peace than like excitement, which is not typical of me, but I think that's how God works sometimes, right? Because like as we were preparing for this episode, and you know, this is content from the course and this was, you know, you and I switch who does what in the course. I knew what was in this, but I so quickly forget the...
beauty and the simplicity of it all. Like even when I was revisiting the taking responsibility part, you know, we've talked about having multiple steps in the past. You, you know, you repent and you restore people and you do this, that and another, but this was just observe it and repent. I probably should have add rejoice because it's so sweet, but there was just this theme of simplicity that
even giving our examples of working from bottom up, I quickly could just feel like, hope you're still doing that in some areas, not in a condemning way, but just like.
don't have to. That's the takeaway for me. Like, I don't have to do these things.
And I know that, but it like registered deeper talking through it today.

And it makes me think about sometimes relationships that I've had with people in the past. You know how you come kind of come to terms with some things and you put up your boundaries and you're just like, okay, feel at peace. And then the other person's still trying to zing you with things that has like triggered you in the past, but you're realizing their pattern is that they never take ownership over their

the mess and you might have repented and said what you needed to say to them, but they are still trying to, like you said, you don't feel this anymore, but they're still trying to condemn you with old things without even acknowledging what you've been through, but it always comes back to them. And I think that repentance, it does give you peace.

And it doesn't have to be complicated or messy or yucky. Like sometimes we deal with people in our earthly spaces.
It's just like, I'm repenting.

Well, even using the example you just gave about people on the earth that you interact with still like throwing things at you. The statement I made right before that of I don't have to do these things like they're trying to get you. Yes, like you don't have to get riled up. You don't have to fall into that trap like I don't think I don't know that sentence is just resonating with me big time like I don't have to do. Fill in the blank.

to get worked up, to let my emotions, that one of the reasons we're, ⁓ you know, need to restore our radiance in our spirit, our emotions have ruled in rain. I mean, I allowed, we talked about this, I've been a big feeler. I thought that's just how God made me. Nah, hope. You'd be blocking your radiance in your spirit.
And spirit first living, I don't know if I have the words to truly describe the feeling, you know, I'm talking about peace and you're talking about the excitement of remembering which is truly so exciting of remembering when your spirit was just like almost like, you know, it makes me think about when Jesus and Nicodemus were talking and Nicodemus like, what do mean born again? Can I go back into my mom? Basically, it's that
The first time that you say yes and you do feel like a little child, like your memories you had, you know, laying on the ground and what you were saying as an example, there's a tenderness and there are no words to explain that feeling. And then the moments years later where you tap back into it because you've given God enough space in your life to feel it again.
I want that all the time.

funny. When I was gonna say what we kind of ended our episode on about too about your people that are connected spirit to spirit too like you connect spirit spirit with the Lord but then when you find the people that just grasp at your spirit and help build your spirit up it is so incredibly powerful and helpful especially in the moments where you can feel
your old ways trying to trickle in or trying to snuff out the growth you've had in your spirit. I feel that a lot with you because I see my imperfections for lack of a better term, the tendencies I have, right? As I'm going through the crushing and the sanctification process, I get so frustrated with some, and that's not of God, the frustration, because I can't force and change it overnight. But you've seen,
so many sides of me. oddly enough, through that, as I push through like, my gosh, Nikki's thinking this about me or judging or whatever, it's not true. But I, I might still have those thoughts, but that spirit to spirit connection is I know that you will not leave. You may give me a hard word, but you will not judge as the world judges. Cause you understand we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. And you see
all of these sides of me, which is absolutely terrifying, but there's that spirit-to-spirit connection that will break through every time. And there's a freedom there that I, again, can't explain. But the what, I say all that to say like, what God has done in me on a spiritual level through our friendship is something that is like radical.
Nikki Humphrey (08:45)
Yeah, same. I say the same for you and my life.
Hope Mangiafico (08:51)
And so often, I don't know why I'm sharing this part of the journey. It might be just bringing me healing in this very moment, because I can feel the tears try to come out.
The enemy is so stupid and so frustrating that you, being my closest friend, that spirit-spirit connection, he has often tried to make me most afraid of you because what are you? You're the most, you have access to the most vulnerable parts, right? That spirit-spirit connection. And every time, like, I have to, like, resist that. But it's that scripture, like, submit to God, resist the enemy and he shall flee.
every time the enemy tries to make me so afraid of you. Of all people. The person that I have like the spirit to spirit connection with. And it's because you know those sides of me.
And I find that really important to share because if I did not have someone like you, I would not know those fears existed. I wouldn't know what breakthrough for true vulnerability and true love would feel like from a human. Human to human, that then goes deeper spirit to spirit. I wouldn't even know what that felt like because you have to have these open door opportunities for these types of relationships to get healed of that stuff.
Nikki Humphrey (10:17)
what I have to say about what you just said. Satan, the joke's on you because you don't want Hope and I together because we're teaming up to kick you back where you belong. And that's not here. That's not on this plane. You don't want us together because we are shining our light, reflecting our radiance always back to God the Father. And you don't like that.

A tip that I was given once, and this is exactly what you just did, Nikki, is to remind the enemy where he's headed and what his future is. He hates that, and he will run. Because he recognizes that not only do you know your identity in Christ, you also know the... I want to say dingbag, but the loser that he is.
When you start really identifying with both of those things.
you will radiate like you've never ever ever experienced.
